• Draughty Windows?

Are you finding that you can feel cold air blowing from your double glazed windows?
People often, mistakenly, believe that the gaskets need replacing if their windows are draughty. If the gaskets are not worn or perished then they are probably OK. Check if there is a gap between where the window sash meets the frame. If there is a gap in the corners, this is usually indicative of a worn hinges or friction stays, to give them another name.

These can be replaced in most cases by a competent DIYer. Click here for our range of friction stays.
